YOUR CHALLENGES

Reporting directly to the Vice-President of IT and Digital Strategies, the IT Manager is responsible for the integration of all solutions related to technology infrastructure services. In addition, he coordinates and oversees all IT Help Desk operational efforts to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. He also coordinates all automation and desktop management activities throughout the company, ensuring the availability and monitoring of infrastructure and user services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Implements the technology strategy to support the company's rapid growth while actively participating in the digital transformation;
  • Oversees the IT Help Desk to ensure operational support for all the company's IT requests, incidents and problems;
  • Controls the escalation process and the follow-up of resolution teams in the event of a major incident;
  • Ensures effective communication with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their IT service needs;
  • Ensures implementation of all procedures to protect data integrity and strategic assets;
  • Guides, develops and evaluates the IT team, including two technicians, supporting them in their daily tasks and fostering their professional development;
  • Participates, as required, in technical activities related to the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT systems and networks;
  • Negotiates service agreements with external partners, ensuring compliance with operational and budgetary requirements;
  • Coordinates and manages external suppliers of services and technology solutions, ensuring that service levels are met and costs remain under control;
  • Implements and maintains cybersecurity controls to protect the integrity of data and strategic assets, keeping a constant watch on potential threats.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information systems or college diploma in information technology plus relevant experience;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a technology infrastructure services management role;
  • Advanced technical problem-solving skills, particularly in the fields of computer systems and networks;
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and ability to apply effective security controls;
  • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, time and priority management skills;
  • Knowledge of Azure, Intune, SDWan, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms;
  • Experience and understanding of ITIL processes (an asset);
  • Willingness to travel, as required by the position;
  • Fluency in French and English (bilingualism required).
