YOUR CHALLENGES

Reporting to the Vice-President of IT and Digital Strategies, the IT Applications Manager is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and implementation of applications. This role involves overseeing all efforts related to the implementation of application solutions aligned with corporate strategies, as well as managing the lifecycle of the application portfolio to maintain a high level of user satisfaction.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversees the entire application portfolio, including application maintenance, development and evolution, to support business needs;
  • Guides, develops and coordinates a multidisciplinary team of four people, supporting them in their day-to-day work, while promoting their performance and development;
  • Ensures the development and maintenance of integrations between different systems;
  • Leads application support to quickly resolve production problems and minimize disruption to internal customers;
  • Develop deployment plans for application enhancements and recommend solutions for application portfolio upgrades;
  • Manages assigned application projects, validating requirements, advising on design and assessing risk;
  • Promotes and implements process and procedure improvement initiatives;
  • Ensures compliance with IT business processes and participates in data governance;
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to validate the coherence and relevance of solutions identified by the business lines in relation to the target architecture.

  • Overall internal satisfaction with applications;
  • Compliance with deployment deadlines;
  • Compliance with the upgrade schedule;
  • Success rate of production launches;
  • Application availability rate;
  • Number and severity of incidents resolved.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • University degree in computer engineering or related field;
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in an IT applications management or similar role;
  • Experience with ERP, WMS, PIM, MES, CRM, Business Intelligence (BI) systems, integration platforms, and Cloud solutions (mainly Microsoft);
  • Ability to develop and set application development standards;
  • Ability to execute and assess risks, communicate and escalate issues;
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
