POSITION SUMMARY

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for the revenue generation within Canadian Enterprise Market.  He/She will work directly with influencers and decision makers at the End Customer level to promote the adoption of LG Business Solutions products with the Education (K-12 & Higher Education) verticals.  This individual will also be responsible for internal LG processes, effectively fulfilling the operational needs aligned to the sales cycle.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Quotas & Results

  • Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved
  • Prospect within assigned region/vertical
  • Develop new accounts in assigned region/vertical
  • Strengthen relationship in existing LG accounts
  • Attend Education industry events
  • Develop account profile– key contacts / revenue /LG revenue /competitors
  • Forecasting 120 days out
  • Deliver action plan in region/vertical accounts to ensure sales target achievement

Administration

  • Manage sell-through activities
  • Forecast calls
  • CRM management – activity and opportunity focus
  • Understand market share within existing accounts and develop action plan to close gaps
  • Report to management competitive landscape
  • Escalation management for accounts to various divisions within LG, from time to time

Self-Improvement & Training

  • Memorize LG product knowledge and related materials
  • Maintain expert knowledge of key competitors in key growth categories
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and market intelligence through E-learning, industry magazines, sales related materials, trade shows, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • University degree preferably in Business or Teaching & 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience selling directly to End Customers in the Education space
  • Prior experience in Digital Signage/AV Solutions is a huge plus
  • Prior experience selling Technology into an Educational environment is a huge plus
  • Strong communication, both oral and written
  • Proficient in PC skills specifically Microsoft applications with emphasis on Excel & Salesforce
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Quick learner
