Summary:
Canderel is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role will be focused on supporting and maintaining our company brand, mission and vision. 

This role is an opportunity to bring your creativity and professional expertise to partner with our Director of Marketing and help us create an integrated marketing and communications strategy that will captivate audiences across various channels. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Marketing and Communication initiatives:
  • Be the driving force behind employee marketing and communication initiatives in both English and French, from concept to execution.
  • Work on communication strategies for Canderel that will impact the industry.
  • Dive deep into local projects, our brand, client needs, and market trends to develop comprehensive campaigns through email, social media, advertisements, and more.
  • Help craft news releases and share our brand story with the world.
  • Assist in planning and organizing internal events that bring our team together.
  • Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to ensure our PR engagements align with Canderel's goals.
  • Contribute to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within our company and beyond.
  • Provide social media and communications training to internal groups.
 
Drive Marketing Initiatives for Business Lines:
  • Maintain consistency with our brand assets, ensuring they reflect the essence of Canderel.
  • Take charge of organizing distribution lists and executing marketing campaigns for our teams.
  • Engage with tenants and support initiatives that enhance their experience with our Property Management team.
 
Assist in Business Development:
  • Drive outreach efforts by preparing briefing documents, identifying opportunities, and developing impactful speeches and talking points.
  • Get involved in creating compelling case studies that showcase our success stories.
  • Support our thought leadership program by strategizing and creating compelling content.
  • Support sponsorships and collaborate on outreach campaigns to reach potential clients and prospects.
 
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
  • You must be fluent in both French and English to excel in this role (responsible for communication across Canada, social media messages in English, etc.).
  • A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, English, journalism, or marketing.
  • An exceptional communicator who can guide others with their stylistic expertise.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionalism and discretion are paramount, and confidentiality is key.
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative and working autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail while managing priorities.
  • Bring a fresh perspective and embrace continuous improvement, sharing your innovative ideas.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • A fundamental understanding of both traditional and digital media landscapes.
  • Familiarity with automation and CRM platforms like Mailchimp and MS Dynamics.
