POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Director, Workforce Management is responsible to operationalize the Labour Performance Program and to enable the field teams to execute on our full year targets. This role is responsible for providing guidance and analytical support to the Operations Directors and to identify opportunities to drive labour efficiencies in our clinics. The successful candidate will apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to help various levels of the organization make informed decisions around the largest expenditure in our clinics.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively monitor and manage labour performance by partnering with the field teams to achieve our financial plan
  • Build, evolve and track action plans alongside the field teams to hold parties accountable to achieve financial targets while maintaining optimal service levels in clinics and hospitals
  • Manage the completion of the total network labor budget and forecasts in collaboration with the Finance and Operations team
  • Lead the development and evolution of the national labour and productivity reporting as well as deliver regular periodic review of performance metrics to key stakeholders
  • Drive workforce scheduling compliance and scheduling accuracy across the network of clinics
  • Identify new opportunities to build, enhance, and streamline internal systems, processes and tools to support the Workforce Management agenda
  • Collaborate across the business to identify opportunities to develop, implement and refine labour standards on an ongoing basis
  • Partner with the Medical Leadership team to develop the playbook for more efficient and effective patient scheduling

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in an analytical field of study (Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, Business)
  • 7+ years experience in Operations and/or Workforce / Labour Management
  • 5+ years of Management experience preferred
  • 3+ experience in Dayforce and/or similar HRIS / WFM systems
  • Proven ability to launch and scale initiatives within multi-unit businesses
  • Excellent, creative communication skills, interpersonal skills and a collaborative style
  • Ability to manage major projects and initiatives with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial setting where new processes are created and constantly improved to align to the vision of the organization
