About the role   

Our candidates require:   

• Registered Veterinary Technician with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians  
• Experience in emergency medicine is an asset   
• A successful ER technician must be able to perform well under pressure   
• The ability to communicate and function well in a team atmosphere. Join our team of professionals who thrive under pressure and are committed to making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. 

Skills and Effort Requirements: 

• Triaging emergency patients and history taking 
• Administering medications and performing laboratory samples  
• Independent judgment and initiative 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team 
• Night, holiday, and weekend availability 
• Ability to multitask and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
