A Propane Specialist I is responsible for the safe and timely tank setup and/or+ delivery of product to our customers. The Propane Specialist I will install/repair tanks, deliver, load and unload propane into the bulk truck and end use containers while providing exceptional customer service. Propane Specialist I will also be accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you'll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks, and/or cylinders) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process. Collect customer signatures/stamps and payments for deposit if necessary. Offer customer brochures with basic price lists and a contact number. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver reports where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable, document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the Dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Provide Propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all state/local codes and safety policies. Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection. Respond to customer emergencies as needed. Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations. Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks in preparation of installation.

What you bring:

• Must be CDL B/Hazmat, Tanker licensed.
• Must be experienced in propane service with CETP 1.0, 2.2/2.4, 4.1/4.2 certified.
• Additional CETP or industry training is preferred.
• Must be available for emergency on-call after-hours/weekends/holidays; includes pay differential.

This role is for Flex Position

 A Flex position reduces a 12-month continuous work arrangement to something less. Work arrangements include a up to a maximum of 9 consecutive working months, with the additional three months of the year off (9-and-3).
