Motion Graphics Design Intern
Hey there, pixel prodigy! Sunwing Vacations Group—the top vacation brand in Canada, sending more Canadians to tropical paradise than anyone else—is on the hunt for a Motion Graphics Design Intern. You'll join our in-house studio, creating a diverse range of ads that capture the magic of sun, sand, and beachy vibes. If you're all about crafting visuals that make people want to trade snow boots for flip-flops, then let’s get those graphics in motion.
The Role:
We’re looking for a talented Motion Graphics Design Intern to join our in-house creative studio for a 8 month contract. You’ll play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand, working on a wide range of projects, including digital ads, social media content, and video campaigns that inspire Canadians to book their next escape. This is your chance to bring tropical destinations to life with captivating motion graphics that stand out in a competitive market.
What You’ll Do:
- Create engaging motion graphics for digital ads, social media, video content, and more, aligned with our brand's look and feel.
- Collaborate with the creative team including designers, copywriters, and marketing managers to bring concepts to life.
- Develop storyboards and visual concepts that enhance our marketing campaigns, focusing on dynamic visuals that captivate and convert.
- Animate 2D/3D graphics, text, and other visual elements to elevate our brand’s storytelling and drive engagement.
- Edit and enhance video content, integrating motion design seamlessly to create polished, professional outputs.
- Stay on top of design trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to keep our content ahead of the curve.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of work under pressure.
What You’ll Need:
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience with Cinema 4D or similar 3D software is a plus.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think big generate bold ideas, and push the boundaries of conventional motion design.
- A passion for visual storytelling with the ability to create graphics that are not just visually appealing but also impactful and memorable.
- Strong technical skills in animation and design, including an understanding of timing, pacing, and composition.
- Openness to feedback and a collaborative spirit with a positive attitude towards iteration and continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to quickly adapt and experiment with new styles and techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
