Who are we looking for?
We seek a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to embrace new marketing challenges. This is a hybrid opportunity at our head office in London, Ontario.
We are looking for a marketing coordinator who:
- Has 2-3 years of marketing experience.
- Has a post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Is knowledgeable in event management standards and practices.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle unexpected changes efficiently.
- Is detail-orientated.
- Is skilled in using social media tools for post scheduling and reporting.
- Has experience with WordPress or similar content management systems and implementing SEO tactics.
- Has reliable transportation to attend and to transport materials to local events; mileage compensated.
General tasks
- Coordinate and oversee event planning and management, including preparation of materials, on-site logistics, and attendee engagement for firm-sponsored community events.
- Capture high-quality visual content at events, such as photographs and videos, for internal documentation and promotional use.
- Handle external inquiries regarding sponsorships and partnerships with professionalism and promptness.
- Implement social media strategies, create organic content and utilize performance metrics to enhance audience interaction.
- Support regular website content updates.
- Publish blog posts after conducting a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) review.
- Oversee the inventory of event-related branded materials, ensuring their availability and quality for distribution.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Travel to various event locations within London and occasionally throughout Southwestern Ontario, utilizing reliable transportation as needed.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required for on-site event support.
