Ray-Mont Logistics is a dynamic organization dedicated to serving as the essential link in the international business logistics supply chain. We offer a range of operational logistics services, including loading, transportation, and storage of surplus products. 

We are currently seeking a permanent full time Top Pick Operator to join its vibrant team. The purpose the Top Pick Operator is to efficiently handle and maneuver shipping containers within the terminal, facilitating their loading, unloading, and storage processes. 

Work Schedule : Day shift 7 :00 am to 3 :00 pm, Monday to Friday, with availability for additional hours if needed. 

Main Responsibilities:  

• Liaise with previous shift’s operator regarding operation of container lift. 

• Fill out pre-shift Top-Pick inspection form. 

• Operate the Top Pick (Top Loader/ Top Handler) to transport containers.  

• Confirm radio reliability 

• Verify production priorities with shift supervisor. 

• Verify shipping priorities (late gates) with shift supervisor and/or dispatch. 

• Work with various loading stations to provide empty equipment for loading onto hostlers. 

• Offload loaded containers to appropriate designated locations from hostlers. 

• Offload and load empty or loaded containers from Port Trucks. 

Qualifications:  

• Experience operating loaded container handlers or similar machinery; 

• Marine Terminal experience preferred. 

• Ability to use hostler and small lifts preferred. 

• Physical strengths and abilities; 

• Good knowledge of computers; 

• Great learning skills and operational intelligence; 

• Exemplary attitude and willingness to move forward career wise; 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; 

• Capability to work under pressure; 

Work Environment : Must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay Rate: 30$/hr
