The Opportunity:

Postmedia is looking for a tech-savvy, results-driven, enthusiastic Programmatic Strategist to join our Sell Side Programmatic Strategy team, with primary focus on large client and agency business.  The successful candidate must be comfortable growing business opportunities while becoming well-versed in the technical implementation of Postmedia’s programmatic solutions. This position will report to the Director of National Programmatic Sales, working alongside our senior strategists.

 

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and participate in client campaign kick-offs to outline strategy, scope, and execution so all parties are aligned on expectations.
  • Build Programmatic Guaranteed, Preferred and PMP deals in Google Ad Manager, Index Exchange or other as needed.
  • Analyze and optimize sell side programmatic campaign performance to meet and exceed client goals and expectations, measuring against established KPIs.
  • Keeping informed about pacing, spending and optimizations for ongoing campaigns.
  • Identify and set goals and KPIs for campaigns and continuously track results.
  • Collaborate with National Sales reps on client pitches and strategic approaches.
  • Present strategy and reports/data analysis to clients and teams.
  • Identify trends and present ideas for growth.
  • Educate stakeholders on programmatic and first-party data solutions.
  • Provide ideas to improve campaign build and optimization practices.

 

Who you are:

 

  • 2 years+ working in a digital sales or programmatic trading/buying environment.
  • Experience with ad serving & reporting platforms: Google Ad Manager (GAM), DV360.
  • Comfortable in a sales focused environment with revenue targets working remotely.
  • In-depth knowledge of DSP capabilities and executions is a plus.
  • Innovative thinker, open to presenting new ideas, processes, and efficiencies with confidence.
  • Ability to communicate with clients directly, and to provide turnkey solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage volume.
  • Detail-oriented, curious, proactive and resourceful.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills required.
  • Outgoing, personable, responsible and a strong collaborator, both internally and externally.
  • Strong multi-tasking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Compensation Model:  This role includes a competitive base salary plus commission bonus
