The Opportunity:
Postmedia Editorial Services is looking for an experienced layout editor with the strong design sense and superior typographic skills.

What you'll do:

• Layout and design of multiple high-profile newspaper pages every day.
• Responsible for ensuring highest standards of quality control.
• Able to work well with others
• Efficient and calm under pressure.

Who you are: 

• Ability to produce high-impact pages with minimal direction.
• Strong typography skills.    
• Must be able to work quickly and creatively, while exhibiting great people skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Advanced understanding of InDesign
• journalism/graphic design degree or diploma an asset
• Experience with Saxo CMS an asset, but not a requirement.

The ideal candidate will be an independent worker who is detail-oriented. Experience as a copy editor is a plus. Postmedia Editorial Services operates seven days per week, and applicants must be prepared to work evenings  and weekends.
