Commerce UX/UI Manager (18-Month Contract)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Commerce UX/UI Manager in D2C division at LGECI, will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of digital platform user experience and integration. This position will lead go-to-market strategy in relation to commerce UX/UI and platform features applied onto LG Online Brand Store/LG.ca. The Commerce UX/UI Manager will also evaluate new digital products, lead their local adoption, and define the system architecture for UX/UI management. The role requires participation in market research, validation, and analysis to identify opportunities for new or existing features and functionalities. This position will also Conducting user research, data analysis, and iteratively improve user journey, visual contents, and overall design structure.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

UX/UI MANAGEMENT

  • Understand current state of platform functions and features to define opportunities that create business value and continuous customer experience satisfaction;
  • Manage LG.com eCommerce function interface configuration and administration: pricing maintenance, shopping related message, contents, FAQ, T&Cs maintenance;
  • Lead LG.com and eCommerce integration in design and implementation to ensure the result fulfills the customer’s requirement;
  • Conduct quality assurance of shop related to user experience and user interface;
  • Lead ideation, research, development, and process improvement;
  • Drive conversion, providing content which can be easily understood;
  • Conduct periodic digital product performance review;

 

PROMOTION/OFFER PAGE SET-UP

  • Work collaboratively with Product Management team to develop and manage annual roadmap for new product introductions and promotions / offers;
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and e-Commerce sales teams on promotion/offer page set-up according to the roadmap;
  • Prepare and present content to various cross functional teams;

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Deliver  complex projects that involves close collaboration with multiple teams including UX/UI, Legal, IT, Solution Architect, Marketing, Digital teams and external partners;
  • Plan LG.com/e-Commerce platform migration and upgrade and coordinate with Head Quarters;
  • Support the e-Commerce platform feature/function enhancement project and liaise UI/UX update requirements to relevant stakeholders;
  • Lead HQ provided digital application solution adoption: Project Management;
  • Analyze systems, business processes and legal requirements to identify gaps and work with various stakeholders and external partner to close gaps or develop project to drive solution;

 

DATA ANALYTICS

 

  • Leverage analytics to perform A/B testing for features/functionalities and product prioritization;
  • Identify and obtain sample data for business use cases.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 5+ years in Digital product management, eCommerce;
  • Experience working with and driving result from web analytics platforms such as Omniture and/or Google Analytics;
  • Intermediate/advanced Photoshop skills;
  • Experience with AEM / Magento tools will be considered an asset; 
  • Experience with digital transformation, UX, Google Ads and A/B Testing;
  • Proven ability in using data analytics & visualization tools such as Power BI and SQL;
  • Ability to liaise with cross functional teams;
  • Strong project management skillset including requirement analysis, testing/release management;
  • Strong experience in Agile methodology;
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
