SUMMARY

The CPFR Manager is accountable for demand forecasting and inventory management designed to meet and exceed the customer’s goals for productive inventory and service (in-stock) levels for their assigned LG product business segments and customer accounts. Working directly with our customers/partners, responsibilities will include ensuring end to end planning to ensure LG products meet marketplace requirements effectively.



PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Collaborative Planning:

  • Customer level planning at the national, DC, and store levels, creating inventory and demand analysis for solutions on a weekly basis
  • Analyze sell-in and sell-out forecasting trends and align future demand to meet the trends and current market conditions.
  • Develop forecasts, track, and recap promotional events.
  • Review current inventory levels and adjusts supply plans to align with target levels of channel inventory
  • Collaborate with Sales team to ensure New Product Introductions / End of Line products are planned for execution in the marketplace.
  • Maintain Channel service level and inventory management goals.
  • Collaborate with logistics to ensure operations are transparent and supply lines are performing,
  • Monitor and report on performance scorecards (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Effectively manage KPI’s: WOS, forecast accuracy, order coverage, revenue achievement

 

CPFR Process Improvement:

  • Execute value-added services to drive competitive advantage and improved effectiveness
  • Execute flexible, low-cost supply chain options that lowers cost-to-serve
  • Troubleshoots coverage plans and supply disruptions on an on-going basis.
  • Reviews the forecasting, sales capability, Inventory KPI’s for alignment and meeting business requirements
  • Works well within planning organization. Provide progress and improvement in the installed processes to deliver scalable and sustainable efficiencies. 

 

KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or another relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in CPFR / Buyer / Merchant
  • Prior leadership experience is an asset
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Excel – Advanced
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to effectively influence stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines and balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • CPIM, CSCP (APICS) certification is an asset
  • The incumbent in the role provides significant experience in forecasting volume, revenue, product movement and procuring supply. The skill set brings to the business a well versed background using enterprise systems and modern methods in sales and operations planning.
  • This position requires facilitating the collaboration process between LG and major retailers and their cross functional team including buyer and replenishment
  • Communication and proper execution in-line with the demand-forecast consensus and demand based supply chain / logistics capacity requirements.
  • Accountability for the effective implementation of sustainable, cost effective, supply chain processes.
  • Detailed customer level planning at the national, DC, and store levels, creating inventory and demand analysis for solutions, using both LG and customer’s systems and analytical tools.
