Process Development Quality Technician

BIOVECTRA Inc. has an opening for a Process Development Quality Technician . This is a permanent, full-time position located in Charlottetown, PEI.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting in monitoring development programs to ensure adherence to company policy.
• Monitoring equipment qualification and software validation programs
• Lab inspections
• Management of training program
• Review of technical reports
• Management of quality system incidents
• Review of technical reports
• Assisting in the preparation and review of change control.

The successful candidate for this position should have:

• Post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Biotechnology or similar field.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or related field considered an asset.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting an asset.
• B.Sc. in physical or life sciences.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word are considered an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
• Technical proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and techniques.
• Flexible work hours required, evening or weekend shifts may be schedules. 

Entry is salary based on education and skills: $48,516
