Essential Job Functions

• Update bank files with daily activity
• Maintain receipt balancing schedule
• Process daily payments from various ERPs
• Monitor bank activity and liaise both internally and externally (banks) to resolve any issues, including but not limited to returned payments, positive pay, unidentified debits/credits
• Monthly cheque reconciliation including clean-up of stale dated cheque
• Ensure proper documentation including saving of monthly bank statements and compilation of monthly/quarterly bank reconciliations
• On a quarterly basis, full cash bank reconciliation reporting
• Monthly Payable/Receivable – Reconciliation/TSA review
• Review Intercompany balances and provide clearing entries as needed across all entities while maintaining monthly Balance Sheet Flux file with commentary on major balance movements.
• Support annual financial statement audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support AR and AP with reconciliation, aging analysis, etc. as needed
• Manage the daily FX and update ERP
• Oversee cash application/posting function (group of 4) and work closely with accounts receivable team
• Manage intercompany loans/ cash, dividend payout, and capital injections (coordinate with Treasury, Tax, accounting and legal for global cash repatriation)

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in treasury and/or finance/accounting department
• Knowledge and experience of JDE Oracle
• Advanced Excel skills - vlookups, pivot tables, etc
• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting concentration
• Learner, articulate, driver, and self-motivated
• Strong knowledge of bank and intercompany reconciliation process
• Nice to have - Finance Designation: CPA or CFA – or candidate
