Job Overview:

As the Sr. Finance Operations Manager you will be responsible for responsible for overseeing financial performance & governance for all Kits plants within the Give and Go network. The objective is to improve financial results and drive insights for both plant management, operations and logistics’ team. Duties include management of daily business operations through costing, inventory management, the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting documents and analyzing operations results and customer/product profitability to control and monitor efficiencies, in the attainment of budget commitments

What You’ll Get To Do

  • Contribute to the execution of the company’s LTP within the Finance department by partnering with cross functional stakeholders
  • Continuously analyze data across all areas of operations to determine optimal performance model for the business.
  • Develop and improve factory KPIs, which are consistent across all plants and reconcile to the financials. KPIs driving operational efficiencies and improvements in line with our business objectives.
  • Develop and lead costing team in establishing standardized processes and costing, including variance reporting in the ERP system.
  • Review and direct delivery of timely and accurate reporting of monthly results for all facilities. Ensure all numbers and explanations are accurate and clear represents the performance of site or division.
  • Lead the monthly/annual forecasting and ad hoc reporting, as well as leading the month end close process for the division
  • Provide oversight to the plant transactional systems across the organization to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place, monitored, and adhered to throughout the Plant.
  • Manage standard costs for products and support the SKU costing process.
  • Approach controls with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Monitor and analyze raw and packaging materials, WIP, finished goods, productivity, and labour efficiencies.

The Recipe for Success

  • Completion of university degree in Accounting, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of cost accounting and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience at the Manager level of an organization
  • Completion of CPA, CMA, or CGA designation
  • Minimum 7 years of cost accounting and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
