Job Overview: 

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for project administration activities, working closely with the project capability, engineering and finance teams, to ensure that the project deliverables are being met, maintained and reported to key stakeholders. 

 

This role is permanent full-time with a standard 37.5 hour work week and eligibility for overtime.

  

What You Will Get to Do: 

  • Maintaining the Capital Projects Database 
  • Complete project setup 
  • Ensure completion of project milestones within the database 
  • Close out requirements of projects once completed 
  • Project Tracking and Documentation 
  • Preparation of the DMS2 and DMS3 (Weekly, biweekly and monthly Management meetings) 
  • Documenting and reporting of capital project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
  • Reporting of Capital Cashflow; progress and mitigations 
  • Updating Project Plans, meeting minutes, and technical and financial closeout reports 
  • Monitor upcoming project milestones 
  • Produce program and project plans 
  • Manage and update project and program risk assessments 
  • Project closeout documentation 
  • Project Management Office Support 
  • Generation of reports in Excel and PowerBI. 
  • Supports resource planning and reporting 
  • Facilitates Project compliance
  • Financial policy compliance 
  • Generates and processing of purchase orders 
  • Change management control 

  

Recipe for Success: 

  • Completion of college diploma in a related field 
  • 1 to 3 years of project administration experience 
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills 
  • Knowledge of Project Management PMI, and project control 
  • Knowledge of costs, Capex, CRE, Opex, budget, and cash flow 
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy 
  • Ability to compile reports from multiple data sets to support monitoring of project progress, costs, key performance indicators, etc. 
  • Maintains project documentation updates such as project plans, meeting minutes, contracts, technical and financial closeouts, etc. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others for data exchange, clarification and follow-up 
  • Sense of urgency and the ability to effectively collaborate to positively drive results 
  • Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project 
  • High level of Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Preferred – Intermediate experience of PowerBI
