Structural Detailer

The Structural Detailer (Checker) will be responsible for detailing telecommunication sites, equipment shelters, antenna mounts, and creating BOM, design & fabrication drawing packages for clients. The Detailer also works with our internal shared services, such as fabrication, shipping and our other drafting offices. Other key responsibilities include translating drawing packages from English to French and checking for proper grammar, syntax, and additional customer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Structural Drafting Certificate from accredited technical school or equivalent
• Previous experience working in the telecommunication industry is an asset
• Proficient in AutoCAD Software
• Autodesk Advance Steel experience is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu pdf editing software
• Well versed in steel detailing and erection drawings
• Fluent in both English & French, oral and written
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
• Clean Criminal record
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
• Time management, and multi-tasking skills.
