About the Role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Digital Automation & Configuration team as a Process Automation Business Analyst, DAC Run based in Shelton, CT. The Process Automation Business Analyst will design, document, and implement automated solutions to enhance business processes using tools like Adobe Workfront, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Azure DevOps (ADO). This role requires expertise in automation technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams. The successful candidate will streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless end-to-end workflows for our technology teams, marketing partners, and global digital collaborators. This approach will reduce manual processes, improve accuracy, accelerate time-to-market, and help further our transformation into an automated, self-service model, supporting the evolving needs of our global marketing and operations teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows.
  • Onboard and utilize Adobe Workfront for project and task management, ensuring processes and testing are aligned with business needs.
  • Design processes and solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency: Identify areas within the team and organization that can benefit from automation.
  • Implement and Integrate: Execute automation solutions into existing business processes. Ensure seamless integration with Adobe Workfront, ADO systems, and other systems used in the test automation environment.
  • Test and Troubleshoot: Test automated systems to ensure they function as expected, troubleshooting as needed with teams to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Maintain and Update: Regularly review and evolve automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Stay current on recent technologies and methodologies related to automation.
  • Configure and Customize: Work with Adobe Workfront to develop and maintain templates, custom forms, automated testing workflows, and reports.
  • Collaborate and Align Cross-functionally: Work closely with various technology teams to understand their needs and apply automation solutions accordingly. Help drive stakeholder alignment as needed and provide training and support to all teams on the use of automated systems.
  • Document: Continuously maintain and improve automation frameworks and strategies to enhance test efficiency and coverage. Documenting all automation processes for future reference and audits. Ensure all automated processes adhere to standards for functionality and productivity.
  • Support the larger QE/Testing team in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certification in business process management or automation tools.
  • Tech Guru: Strong technical expertise in backend automation tools and business process management technologies, with the ability to analyze complex processes and identify automation opportunities. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and apply them to improve testing processes.
  • Organizational Wizardry: Excellent organizational and documentation skills, combined with experience in project management and workflow automation.
  • Solution Strategist: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Communication Champ: Effective communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth teamwork and project execution.
  • Preferred experience with the following tools: Adobe suite (Adobe Workfront, Adobe Fusion, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analytics), Visio, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, Power BI, Service Now 
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
