WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the General Manager Supply Chain Business process, the Supply Chain Coordinator partners with business units to provide strategic guidance and support in the acquisition of all goods and services in the most efficient, competitive and economic manner while minimizing risk in leading an open, transparent and flexible process. This role will act as a consultant to their business units to provide supply chain expertise as well as proactive recommendations to support business operations. 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Understand and address the needs of various business units.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, provide guidance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support the acquisition of goods and services efficiently and transparently.
  • Deliver training on Supply Chain Policies and processes.
  • Manage the bid process, including preparing documents, negotiating contracts, and resolving issues with suppliers.
  • Lead special projects, draft unique contract clauses, and improve sourcing processes.
  • Provide backup to other Coordinators as needed.
  • Oversee Supplier Relationship Management programs and onboarding for new vendors.
  • Manage supplier contracts, performance, and compliance with service agreements.
  • Assess supplier financial performance and manage risks related to suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and regulations, maintain ERP databases, and manage RFX processes.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, manage timelines, and ensure value for money.
  • Communicate with suppliers and support business units’ spend plans.
  • Procure materials and services for airport operations while adhering to policies.
  • Provide training on inventory systems and review procurement policies as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • University degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of relevant business experience in an environment of similar scope and complexity.
  • Deep understanding of sourcing practices, regulations, and standards for goods and services, including handling high-profile initiatives.
  • Ability to work closely with clients to grasp their roles, plans, and financial processes, and understand sourcing approval and review mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of industry tools, databases, standard contract clauses, and aids for effective sourcing services.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP is advantageous.
  • Experience in planning and delivering special projects.
  • Experience in training internal clients on processes and systems is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong skills in communication, planning, and executing sourcing assignments.
  • Ability to identify unique problems in sourcing and propose innovative solutions.
  • Ability to manage change, build trust, solve complex problems logically, innovate, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in discussing technical details, chairing meetings, and responding to queries.
  • Skills in facilitating sourcing events, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
  • Capable of resolving conflicts and negotiating terms effectively.
  • Ability to train clients, defend procedures, and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Background in managing various sourcing needs, partnering with clients, and working in customer-focused environments.

WHAT ELSE

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a restricted area identification card (RAIC).
  • This role will be eligible to participate in our hybrid work model.
