As the Manager, IT Business Solutions, you will be responsible for the support of all Line of Business (LoB) systems. This includes managing the alignment of business requirements with Westland’s business needs and goals, coordinating configuration functions, and ensuring there is consistent and quality level 2 support for all LoB systems. This key role will be pivotal in driving the team’s performance, ensuring efficient operations, and optimizing the delivery of critical services.

 

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $101,600 - $127,000, with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

Why we’ll love You:  

  • You have over 5 years of experience in a managerial role, leading and motivating teams of business analysts, configuration analysts, and application support specialists
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • You have solid knowledge of application support methodologies, incident managemt, and problem-solving techniques
  • You are familiar with software configuration management practices and principles
  • Working knowledge of the insurance and brokerage industry would be an asset
  • You have exceptional communication skills, both orally and in visual/written formats
  • You are extremely detail-oriented and think of yourself as methodical and well-organized
  • You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments and adapt to evolving business needs

 

 

Once here, you'll:  

  • Provide strong leadership to a diverse team of business analysts, configuration analysts, and business application support specialists
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Insurance Broker Operations Specialist to implement efficient solutions that enhance productivity, user experience, and overall performance
  • Oversee the team’s handling of application support requests, incidents, and escalations
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of issues, minimizing downtime, and optimizing system functionality
  • Establish and enforce best practices for business analysis, configuration management, and application support
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members to foster their professional growth and enhance their technical expertise including supporting training initiatives
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation, growth, and teamwork
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) and other documentation as required
  • Undertake any other duties of similar level and responsibility as may be required from time to time
