Job Purpose:

The Senior Associate & Dealing Representative, Investor Services plays a critical role in supporting the Investor Services team by providing exceptional service, detailed information, and strategic advice to investors dealing with Trez. This role involves managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and other direct investors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting key functions such as fund reporting, audit process, and Board of Governors meetings. Additionally, the Senior Associate & Dealing Representative collaborates closely with the Dealer Services team and contributes to capital raising activities, enhancing overall investor experience.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Investor Engagement: Meet with existing and potential direct investors, providing personalized service, investment advice, and information on Trez's Offering Memorandum, Limited Partnerships, and Loan Sharing products.
  • Client Management: Manage and service accounts for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and friends of the firm, ensuring client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all client files are current and meet regulatory requirements, adhering to Know-Your-Client (KYC) and Suitability standards during the registration of new investors.
  • Reporting and Communication: Lead the production of monthly fund fact sheets, quarterly performance reports, and other investor communications. Proactively communicate with direct investors to keep them informed and engaged.
  • Board of Governors Support: Coordinate meetings, produce and distribute materials, and support the Board of Governors for Offering Memorandum products.
  • Project Leadership: Act as the lead on projects within Investor Services, driving initiatives that improve the servicing of direct investors and enhance the investor experience.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Assist in marketing and sales activities related to raising capital, working closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and provide necessary support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years as a Licensed Exempt Market Dealing Representative.
  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Exempt Market Products (IFSE) course; eligibility for registration as a dealing representative is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment management products and services, with a focus on the exempt market.

 

Salary Range:
$73,485 - $105,570, with a midpoint of $87,975 annually, commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
