Licensed Industrial Electrician | Maintenance Electrician | Heavy Equipment Fabrication Environment

Our licensed industrial electrician is responsible to ensure all electrical equipment and systems are operated and maintained in a safe and effective manner. This individual should use considerable independent judgment in making decisions and should be able to perform advanced trouble shooting on industrial equipment and when working on maintenance for the building.  

This individual should be able to inspect equipment for proper functioning, performs preventative maintenance duties and diagnoses equipment malfunctions for repairs and adjustments as needed. This role will focus on repairing and maintaining equipment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations within TCi Industries Inc.

Job Description:

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety in the workplace
• Read, understand and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair equipment as needed
• Installing fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems
• Completes accurate technical reports, failure reports, parts listings and drawing revisions
• Troubleshooting circuitry and replacing damaged components on industrial equipment and systems
• Adjusts equipment and repair/ replace defective parts components or systems
• Tests repaired equipment to ensure proper operational performance

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be an Ontario Licensed Electrician
• Minimum of three years of relevant electrical working experience, preferably in an industrial setting
• Mathematical aptitude required
• Strong communication skills
• Superior problem solving skills
