We are currently hiring multiple positions for a Technologist in various departments across our Barrie, Bracebridge, Collingwood, Guelph and Orillia locations. Opportunities are available in our Bridges, Land Development and Transportation departments. Join us and embark on a fulfilling career with Tatham Engineering.

The successful candidate in the Land Development group will be engaged in the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, water mains, roads and parking lots. 

The successful candidate in the Bridges group will assist with the delivery of bridge infrastructure projects, with a focus on design, existing structure inspections, and project management.

The successful candidate in the Transportation group will assist with the completion of traffic impact studies, transportation needs assessments, corridor reviews, site plan reviews, access reviews, parking studies, traffic operations, transportation master plans and/or environmental assessments

Key Position Requirements:

  • A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • C.E.T. designation would be an asset
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software
  • Registered or eligible for registration with OACETT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and work independently under minimal supervision
