The role of the Transport/Service Dispatcher is to coordinate, source and dispatch daily transport driver workload.

What you’ll do:

  • Assign and coordinate delivery of 1 million gallons of propane and fuel per day.
  • Daily and weekly scheduling of drivers and loads to haulers into customer service centers. Determine workforce and equipment needed, while working within the hours of service regulations.
  • Supervise drivers in their daily tasks and advise them on proper safety techniques.
  • Guide drivers on correct sourcing to take for contracts.
  • Sourcing all loads for same day and following day loads to haulers and drivers.
  • Manage contracts on a ratable basis.
  • Administrative duties include: validating paperwork, taking care of driver's physical licenses along with processing ACE Manifests and border paperwork.

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years dispatch experience
  • Hazmat training
  • Safety training is a plus
