We’re seeking dynamic commercial and industrial insurance claim adjusters to join our appraisal team and help uphold our Brand Promise of On Time, Credible and Professional. We welcome all experience levels, from industry newcomers to seasoned experts.

What You Will Do:

You will apply your tangible asset post-lost insurance claim adjuster knowledge and skills to determine the replacement cost values of buildings, machinery and equipment. You will get experience across many sectors such as mining, forestry and paper products, food, utilities, metal, education, and health care industry. Some days, you will be on the move, conducting site inspections to gather specifics, measurements, and take photographs of tangible assets. Other days, you will be in your home office preparing for site inspections or costing and analyzing data related to buildings, machinery and equipment. The position requires travel (30-40%) within the region and nationally and may include international travel. Therefore, the successful candidate should reside in close proximity to a major airport in Canada or United States.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  -  Full proficiency in English (additional language proficiency is an asset);

  -  Post-secondary education;

  - Experience preparing and conducting site inspections; preference if in a commercial or industrial setting; 

  -  CUSPAP or USPAP knowledge is an asset;

  -  Construction knowledge or Industrial process knowledge is an asset;

  -  Understanding building, machinery or equipment design is an asset:

  -  Ability to read blueprints is an asset;

  -  Experience collecting, analyzing, and/or costing data is an asset;

  -  Experience with tangible asset costing or valuation models (including industrial processes) is an asset;

  -  Eagerness to learn and grow and contribute to the success of others:

  -  Demonstrated ability to deliver on our Brand Promise;

  -  Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and databases;

  -  Valid passport, unrestricted driver's license, and able to regional, national, and international travel; and

  -  A combination of education, knowledge and experience will be considered.
