Summary:

The IT Administrator will support the internal operations of the company including enterprise services and general IT.  A key responsibility of this role will include managing applications such as, but not limited to, NetSuite, Google Workspace, Atlassian, GitLab, and Office365. Additionally, Smile Digital Health is a fully-remote and cloud-based company which presents unique challenges and opportunities for its staff.  As such, this role will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees and the coordination of IT resources both internal and external to achieve the desired business objectives.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support across multiple platforms including Google Workspace, Office365, Atlassian, and GitLab.
  • Lead the management and optimization of NetSuite, providing guidance to internal stakeholders, coordinating external support when necessary, and ensuring seamless integration with other critical business systems.
  • Take ownership of NetSuite configurations, integrations, and maintenance, adhering to evolving business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage the intake, prioritization, design, and implementation of NetSuite administration tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Regularly update and maintain documentation and training materials for NetSuite, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Office365 to facilitate effective usage by employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand processes and recommend improvements, particularly in optimizing NetSuite utilization for modules such as Finance and Delivery Services.
  • Develop and deploy key performance indicators, custom views, pages, triggers, and workflows within NetSuite to monitor and improve operational effectiveness. Monitor and maintain integrations with HR systems on a day-to-day basis, ensuring smooth data flow and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate with ACS (Asset Control System) to facilitate seamless integration efforts between enterprise systems. Provide comprehensive IT support, including access management, device support, and general application assistance as required by the IT manager.
  • Support change management activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and certification requirements such as HITRUST, ISO 13485, etc.
  • Manage the organization's asset inventory and contribute to Business Continuity Planning requirements through documentation, testing, and resource coordination.
  • Adhere strictly to privacy, security, and confidentiality policies, handling all confidential information with the utmost discretion and using it only for authorized purposes.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in applications support, system administration, technology support, and ticketing.
  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or relevant education in a post-secondary institution.
  • Experience with
  • Google Workspace, Slack and GitLab.
  • Microsoft 365 to support Intune mobile device management.
  • Atlassian-Jira and Confluence
  • NetSuite Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical issues and troubleshoot with creative solutions.
  • Support designing IT processes and workflows for internal departments.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, positive, collaborative, and organized individual with the ability to maintain flexibility and take ownership of projects and processes.
  • Certifications such as MS 900, AZ 900, ITIL, and CompTIA Network+, are highly desired.

Salary: CAD $75,000 - $80,000
