Reporting to the Sr. Director Facilities Engineering, the incumbent will play a key role in supporting the growth of a complex semiconductor crystal growth and device fabrication facility through upgrades in Enterprise System applications. The successful candidate will have a strong Project Management background in Information Technology and a willingness to work in a diverse and dynamic office environment.
Key responsibilities are to manage IT projects as we transition, or upgrade, to new Enterprise System applications.

This role encompasses:

  • Ensuring the needs of the internal customers are translated into a suitable record
  • Working with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts in developing a solution that meets the project requirements.
  • Develop project plans - specifications, schedules, and resources.
  • Manage project execution to plan, including coordinating implementation/integration teams and reporting.
  • Manage transition from project implementation to sustainability including training, documentation, resourcing, and hand-over.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Address roadblocks in a timely manner to maintain project objectives.
  • Inform relevant users and staff of project progress as required.
  • Ensure project complies with best practices and policies.
  • Work with other IT department members in improvements with project templates, tools, and information sharing technologies.
  • Report to management project progress – milestones, schedule, budget

This position falls within the Redlen Hybrid work model. As this is predominantly internal customer focused, on-site presence is required 2-3 days/week.

Experience

  • 10 or more years’ of experience in Information Technology
  • 3 or more years’ of experience in a project management role
  • Demonstrated implementation experience in one or more of the following:
    • PLM, ERP, MRP, MES, CMMS, HRS, QMS, LMS, Data Warehouse, Data Analytics
  • Working experience within Microsoft 365 environment
  • Cloud migration/implementation projects

Skills/Additional Preferred requirements:

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and self-motivation
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable

Education

  • Post secondary education in applicable field

Expected Salary Range: $90,000-120,000 CAD
