Electrical Mechanic

OVERALL RESPONSABILITIES
- Contribute to prioritizing, planning and preparing tasks/jobs.
- Repair and install electronic and/or mechanical industrial control systems on production lines.
- Carry out maintenance of production lines.
- Execute machine overhauls.
- Train equipment operators.
QUALIFICATIONS
· DEP in electromechanics of automated systems or relevant training.
· Advanced competence in automation, instrumentation, welding and manufacturing.
· Restricted certificate in equipment connection (or in the process of being completed).
· 2 years of experience as Mechanic 1.
· Interest and aptitude for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
· Knowledge of power transmission components, hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps.
· Knowledge of electricity: diagrams, panels, motors, sensors.
· Experience with programmable logic controller Siemens (PLC) is an asset.
· Knowledge of WHMIS and ISO quality management systems is an asset.
· Knowledge of Health & Safety rules and procedures;
· Be recognized as an autonomous, dynamic person with a sense of organization and priorities.
· Drive a lift truck.
- Able to speak, read and write both French and English;
- Availability to work on various shifts when required.
