What’s it like working as a Principal QA Engineer?
We are looking for a Principal QA Engineer to join our IT team. In this role you will be working on exciting product enhancements and IT projects, automating the applications and performing manual testing.
Responsibilities for this role include leading best practices implementation, mentoring, conducting training sessions, designing comprehensive testing strategies and ensuring continuous evolution of tools, procedures.

● Conduct Automation testing to support quality assurance, using Cypress
● Create, modify, and maintain new and existing automation test-cases and build reusable components
● Analyze requirements on JIRA and build automated and manual test strategies, test plans, and test accordingly
● Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use cases and all deliverables meet or exceed the company’s quality standards
● Execute automation with CI/CD through Azure Pipelines
● Perform manual testing which includes front-end applications, middleware APIs and backend systems
● Lead efforts to ensure our QA tools, execution, processes, and procedures are continually improving and evolving with the current standards
● Write technical and design documents for proposed solutions
● Manage defect tracking and proactively identify risks to management; monitor and report results
● Perform automation scripting code reviews, enforce coding standards and encourage best practices among QA engineers
● Work in Agile methodology.
● Mentor junior, intermediate and senior engineers and support their professional growth through knowledge sharing and skill development.
● Organize and lead technical training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.
● Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging experimentation and learning within the engineering teams
● Play an active role in communication to enable smooth implementation of the QA strategies
So are YOU our next Principal QA Engineer? You are, if you have...
● 7+ years’ experience as QA Analyst role with solid progression in responsibility
● 5+ years’ experience with developing QA automation scripts
● Must have deep knowledge on financial services with focus on Customer Accounts and Credit Cards (retail industry is a plus) and awareness about regulatory requirements and compliance
● Expert knowledge of Cypress
● Expert knowledge of jMeter or similar tools
● Working knowledge of Postman & Swagger
● Familiarity with Git (BitBucket repository)
● Working knowledge of Databases like MongoDB and SQL Server. Able to write complex SQL queries.
● Experienced in testing Web-based desktop and mobile applications in devices like Android and iOS.
● Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
● Must have a positive attitude
● Ability to provide and meet QA estimations
● Advanced English communication skills
● Knowledge about SAFe
