What’s it like working as an Account Manager?
- Your time will be split 30% on incoming leads and 70% on account management activities with Flexiti’s small merchant portfolio.
- You will be required to filter incoming leads & assess opportunities to sell Flexiti’s financing solution for both in-store and online.
- You will have a portfolio of accounts that you will be responsible for growing and retaining by collaborating with internal teams such as marketing and operations.
- Provide exceptional customer support for the merchants assigned to your name.
- Maintain strong relationships with merchants, as well as internal stakeholders at Flexiti including Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, Support, etc.
- Ensure merchants support our marketing initiatives and that they are marketing Flexiti to their consumers via all channels.
- Collaborate with the core marketing team to understand the retail calendar and determine how we can get merchants to drive engagement and volume at different times of the year.
- Ensure quality and compliance of all merchant relationships and marketing material through the delivery of engagement content and contact strategies.
- Collaborate with support departments to ensure KPIs relating to onboarding for new clients are being met. Act as an internal point of escalation for post-sales related client issues.
- Establishing yourself as a payments expert, gaining a deep understanding of the competitive offering and being an advocate for Flexiti’s products within the merchant’s organization.
- Must be fully fluent in French & English
- Commercial understanding and the aptitude to identify opportunities and proactively propose solutions
- Experience fielding inbound sales, assessing client needs and product fit.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across organizations within various vertical/industries and cross functionally within Flexiti
- Curiosity with plenty of grit, analytical prowess, creative thinking, and initiative.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- 3+ years of B2B account management experience, preferably in fintech or financial services
- 2+ years of sales
- University Degree
