We're looking for our next Data Engineer. Could It Be You?

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Engineer professional that demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of data warehousing, data integration and analytics. Prepared to work in an agile environment.

What’s it like working as a Data Engineer at Questrade?

The Data Masters Team at Questrade is expert at building data pipelines, data warehouses and reports that are used by various teams across the organization. This is a fast paced agile environment where we have a lot of fun, enjoy a high amount of collaboration and do great work. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Engineer professional that demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of data engineering tech stack with experience in data warehousing, data integration and analytics.

1-2 years of experience working in the data engineering field with GCP
Experience working with BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow, Pub/Sub and CloudSQL Functions
Experience in developing software for internet scale production-grade big data solutions in virtualized environments
Experience in working with/on data warehouses, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools, environments, and data structures
Design, document and develop complex MS Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Apps, etc.) solutions
Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously while troubleshooting technical issues and working with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong experience with SQL
Good Knowledge in Message Broker systems (e.g., Kafka, PubSub)
Good Knowledge of Python language
Develop and maintain code and documentation for ETL and other data integration projects and procedures

Additional kudos if you have…

Experience building applications using SparkML and TensorFlow
