We’re looking for our next Senior Manager. Could It Be You?

  • Teaming up with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), QFG Marketing Leaders, and broader QFG teams to develop, prioritise, and execute on Marketing org initiatives and roadmaps.
  • Set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the Marketing Operations function that align with the overall Marketing and organisation OKRs. Track progress throughout the year and report on results to key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, providing comprehensive administrative and operational support. This will include calendar management, meeting coordination, and proactive stakeholder engagement
  • Own and manage the annual marketing budget planning process, partnering with applicable stakeholders and the Marketing Leadership Team to create an all encompassing marketing budget plan to review and have approved by the CMO.
  • Provide hands-on support to steer strategic business initiatives from concept to execution, and monitor their progress over time.
  • Directly manage specific projects as assigned, and/or oversee success of major cross functional marketing projects to mediate anticipated roadblocks.
  • Liaise with senior leadership to ensure the necessary buy-in support and approval prior to initiating a project and to maintain a high level of engagement and resource availability throughout.
  • Providing the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team with strategic advice on matters of growth, innovation, efficiency, and operations.
  • Acting on behalf of the CMO to manage communications with internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying and developing actionable recommendations against critical areas of improvement within the marketing team.
  • Analysing and evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions.
  • Scoping, planning, and executing on special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.
  • Planning & leading executive-level and large marketing organisation meetings, workshops, and offsite events with meticulous planning and coordination.
  • Executing on strategic communication on behalf of the CMO and marketing leadership team.
  • Ensures the Marketing Operation function works to capture and present project execution lessons learned at project closures to foster an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Exceptional communicator and strategic thinker
  • 8+ years of work experience in fields such as management consulting, Chief of Staff, marketing strategy or operations, project management, enterprise analytics, and/or corporate finance
  • Proven experience of effectively managing a team
  • Strong analytical capabilities with an outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly assimilate large amounts of information; effectively comprehend, synthesise, analyse, structure and communicate executive-level narratives
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner
  • Solid business acuity, professionalism, and integrity
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritise multiple competing initiatives
  • Experience preparing materials for executive level strategic decision-making forums
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to summarise and present findings clearly and succinctly
  • Comfortable communicating with all levels of staff and articulating their point of view
  • Influencing skills, including ability to influence upwards and influence decision making
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
