Position Overview 

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up our retail store showcase and ensuring it meets our customers' expectations. We’re seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and deliver excellence daily. The position requires a 5-day work week, including weekends, with shifts starting at 6:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up the retail showcase before store opening
• Working independently with attention to detail and knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Using or willingness to learn how to properly use a seafood saw for cutting
• Assisting customers with inquiries, packing orders, answering phones, and handling product requests
• Managing cash transactions efficiently
• Adhering to cleaning guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Serving customers from the showcase when required
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety practices, including hand hygiene and FIFO standards

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. 
• Willingness to be trained in the proper handling and cutting of seafood. 
• Customer service experience is an asset. 
• Understanding of food safety guidelines and willingness to follow cleaning procedures.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
• Comfortable working in cold environments.
• Handling of various seafood products is required.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time 
• Pay: From $16.00 per hour
• Expected Hours: 30 – 45 per week
• Additional Pay: Commission
