Shift: 12:30-21:00
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audit inbound and outbound product.
- Provide quality control by physically opening product boxes and investigating potential product damage.
- Accurately input data in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Act as a liaison between Material Handling Equipment (MHE) operators and Logistics Coordinators (LC).
- Assist with facility inventory management.
- Able to comfortably lift/move 50 pounds of product.
- Work in a fast-paced environment packaging products to be shipped.
- Moving product to correct locations by reading & scanning labels.
- Ensure tasks get done on time and accurately.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team focused environment.
- Actively communicate with supervisors and colleagues to notify them of problems/concerns.
- Demonstrate respect for the organization’s values daily, while maintaining and upholding company policies & procedures.
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training is considered an asset.
- Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year warehouse experience is considered an asset.

EDUCATION
- Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma
HEATH & SAFETY
- Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act including Safety, Violence and Harassment laws.
- Work in a healthy and safe manner following Metro’s policies and procedures.
- Hi-visibility vests and steel toe shoes/boots required.
- Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor.
- Must not use or operate equipment in a manner that would endanger yourself or others.
