The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for administering and addressing all operational ticket requests inside Factors Group buildings, small-scale maintenance projects, workspace changes, workspace moves and office services.  The Facilities Coordinator collaborates with other Factors Group service departments to ensure completion of all work, ascertain service standards while minimizing disturbance to operations.

 

Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible); Hybrid

 

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate service tickets from the OfficeSpace tool; prioritize tickets across departments to ensure timely resolution of issues with highest impact on operations and building maintenance.
  • Schedule and oversee facility maintenance and repair services with building/property management company or third-party service providers.
  • Provide support in complex facilities-related situations and participate in resolving issues.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service for all employees, guests, and contractors.
  • Be focused on continuous improvement within the Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

You have:

  • Post-secondary education in Facilities Management or another relevant discipline (2 years).
  • Experience in facilities management or customer service in a corp. environment (2+ years).
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Professional demeanor and workstyle (ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders).
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities.
  • Available/flexible to respond to after-hours emergency calls/emails.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing industry (an asset).
