Are you ready to be an essential member of our Business Solutions team? We are seeking a Quality Computer Systems Administrator to focus on our quality and laboratory systems. This role involves working closely with internal business stakeholders, external vendors, and employees to oversee and optimize our quality systems, ensuring they meet the business's needs.

You’re good at:

  • Systems Management:
    • Manage and configure off-the-shelf integrations with other systems at the administrator level.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
    • Generate reports and analytics as required by lab management to improve operations and efficiency.
    • Ensure efficient operation and security of quality computer systems, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Vendor Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with vendors to address unmet needs and requirements.
    • Ensure laboratory systems meet operational needs and support version upgrades.
  • Training & Support:
    • Provide training and support to lab staff on LIMS, Chromatography, QMS, and other quality systems.
    • Develop world-class training materials to facilitate robust and consistent processes.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize the user experience.
    • Contribute to validation efforts of computer systems.
  • Compliance & Data Analysis:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to lab data management and information security.
    • Perform data analysis to ensure optimal lab conditions.
    • Manage user access and permissions within QMS, Chromatography, and LIMS systems.
  • Staying Current:
    • Stay updated on the roadmaps of all quality systems.
    • Ensure the company is aware of new features, bug fixes, and enhancements.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience as a systems administrator or application administrator
  • Strong understanding of system administration principles and practices.
  • Strong background in laboratory management, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a LIMS system administrator or similar role.
  • Experience with QMS and/or chromatography software is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
