We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to ensure timely and accurate processing of multiple payrolls using the Dayforce HRIS. In this role, you will also be responsible for providing exceptional payroll client service to all staff, including recordkeeping and reporting. All tasks will be performed with a commitment to our seven core values, including Sustainability (people, planet, and profit), guiding all planning and implementation activities.

You’re good at:

  • Preparing and processing hourly payroll.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS.
  • Handling time and attendance and payroll inquiries.
  • Managing year-end payroll processes and reporting.
  • Supporting process improvements in the Payroll department.
  • Staying updated on payroll legislation changes.
  • Adhering to safety policies and procedures.

 

What you have:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, including US payroll.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Secondary school diploma and NPI Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with web ROEs (records of employment).
  • Accounting knowledge (an asset).
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
