You’re good at:

 

  • Building a high-performing team by cultivating a customer-centric approach and strengthening individual and group skills.
  • Aligning inventory planning with sales forecasts and current systems to optimize customer service.
  • Supervising the team in developing supply plans by product family to maximize capacity and efficiency.
  • Responding swiftly to major customer or forecast changes and coordinating achievable plans.
  • Overseeing planning parameters for appropriate, sustainable inventory levels.
  • Identifying and implementing supply chain improvements to enhance business operations.
  • Leading or participating in cross-functional and supply chain projects as required.
  • Following all safety policies and training protocols.
  • Ensuring timely and proactive updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with planners to meet set goals in plan attainment, adherence, and inventory levels.
  • Conducting regular reviews with team members. 

 

What you have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business/operations management, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 4 years of experience in inventory management, production planning, or similar areas, preferably within a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals.
  • Minimum of 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions and processes (plan, source, make, deliver).
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while working with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in production planning and/or inventory management (an asset).
  • Familiarity with integrated software systems.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven leadership skills in coaching and developing employees.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complexity and change.
  • Self-driven with effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build relationships internally to drive engagement and collaboration.
  • Proven success in navigating dynamic environments.
