Plumber Journeyman (Journeyperson) - Fort McMurray

What you will be doing:

• Maintenance and service of plumbing equipment such as pumps, boilers, and backflows.
• Work within commercial and industrial environments such as strata living, National Parks, supermarkets, data centers, refineries, and/or institutions;
• Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments;
• Perform work using hand and power tools in a safe manner;
• Read and interpret blueprints, basic spec, and shop drawing interpretation considered an asset;
• Maintain clean and operable equipment, vehicle, and work areas at all time;

Other required duties may be assigned that fall within the parameters of the primary responsibility of the position.

What you bring:

• Red Seal Journeyman (Journeyperson) Plumber certification;
• Recent service experience required;
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs;
• Gas “A” ticket is an asset;
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and willingness to provide a current 3-year driver’s abstract;
• Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, Fall Protection, Cross Connection Control, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, AWP, and H2S Alive considered an asset.
