POSITION SUMMARY:

EV Charger Sales will be responsible for growing the customer base of electric vehicle (EV) chargers within the company. The primary focus will be developing new accounts and driving business through them. The role requires a strong understanding of the EV charging industry, including CPOs, VARs, Distributors and CSMS ecosystem partners. The individual must have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve overall business objectives.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new business relationships with VARs/CPOs/Distributors/CSMS partners.
  • Uncover new sales channels.
  • Provide sales/technology training possessing a strong level of product knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with government policy, industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Manage project funnel and business activities using Salesforce.
  • Represent LG at industry events, including presenting at select events.
  • Collaborate cross–functionally with other teams within LG.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred in EV Charging related industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred in Energy related field for Sales and Business development.
  • Proven track record of successfully achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the EV charging industry, including knowledge of various charging technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend conferences, and visit project sites.
  • Proficient in using CRM software.
