We will keep your candidacy on file for when the perfect opportunity opens!

Health Standards Organization (HSO) often has openings for talented IT to join our Digital House team, which is a dynamic, cross-functional team comprised of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Data Analysts, Client Technical Support Associates and Product Managers who work closely with internal and external parties to build a new digital experience for our users. If you are looking for a challenge and want to be part of something larger than yourself, this could be for you.

Regardless of the role that you’re in, here’s what you can expect while working in our Digital House team:

  • Contribute to Scrum teams through participation in scrum events and ceremonies, and ensuring product backlogs contain relevant requirements, user needs and criteria for success.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment that requires agile, clear thinking for quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables while managing multiple priorities.
  • Staying abreast of current technologies and industry trends. A techie at heart, you leverage all technology to its fullest.
  • Use your excellent communication skills: you’ll have the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to colleagues and stakeholders, with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams.
  • Take initiative, you know when to check-in, but won’t let it slow you down. You are willing to go the extra mile when it’s crunch time.
  • Be a flexible team player. Contribute positively to the culture of our workplace by staying positive, engaged in the work you do and energized by the difference you’re making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • A passion for software quality, solid problem-solving skills, strong work ethic and attention to detail is imperative.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to communicate with external and internal business and technical audiences.
  • Experience adapting to change quickly, multi-tasking and working under tight deadlines.
  • Strong pro-active investigative and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • A willingness and ability to be coachable, to learn and implement best practices.
  • Have experience working with clients/organizations in the health-care sector.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and can work well either independently or in a cross disciplinary team, remote or co-located.

You’ll stand out if you...

  • Are bilingual – to be able to communicate in English and French is a strong asset (or any other languages for that matter).
  • Are familiar with the health care environment and the role of best practices.
  • Are enthusiastic and passionate! We have an ambitious mission, and it will be our collective energy that will get us there.
