HR Reporting and Compensation Analyst

As an HR Reporting and Compensation Analyst in our Human Resources team, the position plays a key role in analyzing HR Programs along will providing reporting and HR data analytics to the HR department and key stakeholders. The role with also be responsible for analyzing and administering total rewards and compensation programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting and People Analytics
- Generate and distribute weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as well as ad hoc reports
- Analyze data requirements and create meaningful and actionable reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Lead the analysis and evaluation of key HR measures/metrics and KPIs and analytics
Total Rewards and Compensation Analysis
- Participate in the development and delivery of Total Rewards education and education materials
- Ensure effective analysis and interpretation of compensation data including internal equity and market competitive analyses
- Participate in the delivery and administration of compensation programs and initiatives including supporting annual processes (promotions, merit and bonus)
- Produce and deliver analyses to various teams across HR and key business stakeholders to support compensation and market data insights
Process improvement
- Work closely with Director, to gather requirements form key stakeholders and translating needs into report specifications and tools that can streamline reporting and processes.
- Involvement with process improvement initiatives, moving from a primarily manual compensation and reporting process to a more streamline and automated processes
- Lead data reconciliation and quality control processes to ensure accuracy of data
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years in a compensation and/or reporting analyst role; 2-3 years minimum of experience in an HR environment
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources/Business/Finance/Mathematics
- Experience and knowledge working with HRMS systems and HR data
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of employee life cycle and related HR programs and policies (compensation, benefits, recruitment, etc.)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
