Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Fleet Supervisor to join our team in delivery of our SaaS software and Fleet maintenance solutions to customers in the heavy-duty trucking industry. The position is based in Kitchener, Ontario.

The primary role of the Fleet Supervisor is to provide insightful and data-driven solutions to improve our customer’s fleet operations and efficiency. This position involves analyzing customer fleet data, identifying trends, and making recommendations along with our Customer Success Managers to optimize customer fleet performance and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the heavy-duty trucking industry and excellent analytical skills to support decision-making processes for customer fleet managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret fleet data, including fuel usage, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization.
    • Prepare comprehensive recommendations to Customer Success Managers and present to customers on fleet performance improvements.
    • Managers and fleet managers.
  2. Cost Analysis and Optimization:
    • Evaluate operational costs, benchmark trends, and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements for our customer’s fleets.
    • Recommend strategies to optimize fuel consumption, tire wear, maintenance schedules, and route planning.
  3. Customer Fleet Management Support:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of our Mirlin fleet operating system policies and procedures.
    • Implement and onboarding of new customer contracts into maintenance systems, ongoing contract support for Customer Success Managers
    • Assist and lead training with customers on how to operate the fleet operating system and Mirlin technology solutions.
  4. Compliance and Safety:
    • Develop strategies to help customers with compliance to industry regulations and safety standards.
    • Analyze safety data to identify risks and recommend preventive measures for our customers.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and maintenance, to improve fleet operations.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to team members and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Fleet Specialist, Fleet Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty trucking operations and industry regulations.

Skills:

  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

The Fleet Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and profitability of our Customer’s fleet operations. The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing complex data sets, providing insightful recommendations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in our Customer’s fleet management practices.
