This role is permanent full-time with a standard 37.5 hour work week and eligibility for overtime.

Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Overview 

  • Ensure the temperature of the oven is set up according to the chart provided by QA on all products. 
  • Ensure all trays are within the frame of the rack, when loading them into oven Ensures trays remain within the frame of the rack and that back fins do not touch any part of the oven. 
  • Prevents damage to the oven and avoids producing under baked products by ensuring racks are loaded properly. 
  • Prevents under baked or producing poor quality by making certain that the actual oven temperature is maintained not more or less than 5 degrees Fahrenheit Responsible for placing racks of baked products in the cooling tunnel or any other available waiting area. 
  • Reports any oven malfunctions or damaged racks immediately to either Team Lead or Production Supervisor. 
  • Responsible for the monitoring, achieving and enforcement of Food Safety, Food Quality, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), Allergen Program and Health and Safety requirements. 
  • Reports any food safety (hazardous) to the Team Lead/Production Supervisor and QA for Corrective Action Responsible for accuracy of the process control documentations. 
  • Effectively communicate to the next shift all pertinent information. 
  • Responsible for product quality and reporting any quality issues Ensures that the Health & Safety procedures are being followed at all times. 
  • To cover as a back-up for the absence of other key personnel.

Recipe for Success: 

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent. 
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience an asset. Previous manufacturing experience would be an asset 
  • Able to lift, push or pull weight up to 50-100 pounds
