Elgin Manor “the home where the heart is” is a 90 bed long-term care facility located in the Township of Southwold just minutes outside of St. Thomas, ON. As a PSW Nursing Student you will gain valuable experiences through hands-on resident care, receive support from leaders and colleagues, and gain exposure of a long-term care home environment.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the nursing team, and in consultation with the Registered Nurse, you are involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care. You will use your clinical skills to ensure that every resident receives the care they need and deserve delivered with quality, compassion, and consistency. - Competitive salary of $33.56/hr - $33.93/hr (2022 rates) in addition to 14% in lieu of benefits and 4% vacation pay, paid every pay.

Qualifications:
- Must have current Registered Practical Nurses registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Registered Practical Nurse education.
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level HCP.
- Provides evidence of Pharmacology and Aseptic technique preparation.
