Bobier Villa, a County of Elgin Long-Term Care Home, has an exciting opportunity for a student enrolled in a Nursing Program! We are looking to hire someone who has successfully completed their first year of a Nursing Program to work as a Personal Support Worker over the Summer, and may be extended until the end of their Nursing Program (reviewed annually).
Bobier Villa, “the little home with a lot of heart”, is a 57 bed long-term care facility nestled in the community of Dutton, Ontario in the Municipality of Dutton/Dunwich just 20 minutes west of London, Ontario. Bobier Villa offers 24 hour nursing care, both private and basic accommodation, sitting areas as well as expansive gardens, a large water feature and gazebos. As a PSW Nursing Student you will gain valuable experiences through hands-on resident care, receive support from leaders and colleagues, and gain exposure of a long-term care home environment.
Responsibilities:
As a PSW Nursing Student, you will work alongside our Personal Support Workers to provide daily care to all of the residents in accordance with the established routine procedures.

Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed 1st year of a Nursing Program.
- Must have completed school placements in a Long-Term Care, hospital and/or community settings.
- Must provide proof you will be returning to full-time post-secondary school in Fall 2024.
- Experience in Geriatrics or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
