 What you will be working on

• Perform preventive maintenance activities as assigned on all equipment and machines throughout the plant and yards in conjunction with daily production requirements
• Repair breakdowns of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure
• Troubleshooting problems with yard equipment and processing lines
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fabricate parts and other equipment as per instructions or blueprints
• Install and commission new machinery
• Perform weld repairs on equipment

Who’s a good fit for the team

• Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright - 433A or 426A) as recognized by the Ontario College of Trades is required
• Completion of Apprenticeship as a Millwright with relevant work experience or 3+ years of relevant work experience as a licensed Millwright
• 3^rd and 4^th year Millwrights Apprentice are encouraged to apply
• Clear understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and must have sufficient fabrication skills to support plant equipment
• Proficient with stick & TIG, multi positions required, MIG would be an asset
• Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades.
• Basic computer experience a must
• Must have toolbox/tools to carry out tasks
• Must have G license
