Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

Location: 277 Winnipeg Street, Penticton BC
Shift: Part Time, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 11:30am

Pay rate: $20.00/hour

About the Role:
 

We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space! This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized. This role is a temporary position but has the ability to become permanent. Candidates selceted for this role must be able to pass a Reliabilty Clearence which may cause a delay in start time.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
  • Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
  • Washroom cleaning
  • Kitchen cleaning
  • Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
  • Additional tasks assigned by Manager

You have:

  • Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
  • Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
  • Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
  • Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
  • Must be able to pass a reliability clearance
